
ASH WEDNESDAY
February 18th is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. See the Lenten observances in our bulletin. Ashes will be distributed after the 8:00AM and 7:30PM masses. There will also be a Liturgy of the Word, Holy Communion, and Ashes at 3:30pm.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Stations of the Cross will be prayed every Friday night throughout Lent, starting on Friday, February 20th. The Stations will be said in English at 5PM and in Spanish at 6PM. All are encouraged and welcomed to join us.

LENTEN FASTING AND ABSTINANCE
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are the days of fasting and abstinence during Lent. On a day of Fasting, only one (1) full meal and two (2) smaller meals are permitted, which, if added together, would not exceed the main meal in quantity.
Those between the ages of 18 and 59 are obliged to fast.
On a day of Abstinence, no meat may be eaten. Those who have reached the age of 14 are obliged by the law of abstinence.
