
ASH WEDNESDAY
February 18th was Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Ashes were distributed after the 8:00AM and 7:30PM masses. There was also the Liturgy of the Word, Holy Communion, and Ashes at 3:30pm.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Stations of the Cross will be prayed every Friday night throughout Lent, starting on Friday, February 20th. The Stations will be said in English at 5PM and in Spanish at 6PM. All are encouraged and welcomed to join us.

LENTEN FASTING AND ABSTINANCE
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are the days of fasting and abstinence during Lent. On a day of Fasting, only one (1) full meal and two (2) smaller meals are permitted, which, if added together, would not exceed the main meal in quantity.
Those between the ages of 18 and 59 are obliged to fast.
On a day of Abstinence, no meat may be eaten. Those who have reached the age of 14 are obliged by the law of abstinence.
The obligation to observe the laws of Fast and Abstinence.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation:
Parishioners are encouraged to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) at least once during Lent.

Palm Sunday: March 29, 2026:
Masses will begin with the Blessing of the Palm in the front of the Church at the 5:30pm Mass (on Saturday) and the 8:00am and 12:30pm Masses on Sunday. There will be a Procession of the Palms before the 11:00am Mass on Sunday. All those wishing to participate in the Procession should meet in the Church parking lot at 10:30am.
Holy Thursday: April 2, 2026:
There will be morning prayers at 9:00am. The Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be held at 7:30pm and will be bi-lingual.

Good Friday: April 3, 2026:
It is a day of abstinence and fasting. There will be morning prayers at 9:00am. The Lord’s Passion will be at 3:00pm and will be bi-lingual.
Holy Saturday: April 4, 2026:
There will be morning prayers at 9:00am.
Easter Sunday: April 5, 2026:
The Easter Vigil Mass will begin at 8:00pm on Saturday, April 4th. The Sunday Mass schedule remains the same: 8:00am and 11:00am (in English); and 12:30pm (in Spanish).
